PV Planning Permission
As PV panels are silent in operation and have a low visual impact they are generally suitable in most areas. Planning permission is not required for most domestic systems. The Government have made certain micro-renewable technologies (such as solar PV panels, wind turbines) exempt under the Planning Regulations in order to increase the amount of small scale renewables.
BEO can assess if require permission is required or not. If you do require planning permission, BEO will carry out all necessary paperwork to obtain permission for your solar PV system.
